The workhorse services, run properly
Most of what we move rides in a 53 ft van or a reefer. That does not make it routine. The difference between a clean delivery and a claim is in the details before the trailer doors close.
- Trailer inspected before every load. Clean, dry, odour free and photographed, so nobody argues about condition later.
- Reefer set and monitored. Continuous temperature monitoring, with a download available at delivery if your receiver asks for it.
- Freight secured for the whole run. Load bars, straps and proper weight distribution, checked again after the first fifty miles.
- Seal numbers recorded. Sealed at pickup, seal number on the bill of lading, verified at the receiver.

The loads with a clock or a crane on them
Open deck and time critical freight is where an experienced dispatcher earns their keep. Permits, tarps, hours of service and route planning all have to line up before the truck rolls.
- Tarps, chains and straps on board. Drivers carry the securement for steel, lumber, machinery and building products.
- Permits and route planning handled. For over dimensional freight we sort the permits and the legal route before we quote you a date.
- Team drivers for the tight ones. When a solo driver cannot legally make the window, we run teams and keep the wheels moving.
- Direct runs, no consolidation. Expedited freight goes A to B with nothing else on the trailer.
What fits on what
Dry van
53 ft · up to 45,000 lb · 26 pallets floor loaded
Reefer
53 ft · up to 43,500 lb · frozen through fresh
Flatbed
48 to 53 ft · up to 48,000 lb · tarped on request
Hot shot
40 ft deck · up to 16,500 lb · same day dispatch
Weight limits depend on the tractor, the trailer and the state you are running through. Dispatch confirms the legal payload for your specific lane before you commit to a rate.
Service questions we get every week
What is the difference between truckload and partial?
Truckload means your freight has the trailer to itself and rides straight through. Partial means you pay for the space you use and share the deck with one or two other shippers, which is cheaper but adds a stop or two.
Do you haul hazardous materials?
Ask dispatch about your specific commodity and class before you book. Some classes we run regularly and some we do not, and we would rather tell you up front than surprise you at pickup.
Can you handle appointment deliveries and retail receivers?
Yes. Send the appointment window and the receiver requirements with the load and we will build the transit plan around it, including early arrival where the site allows it.
What about oversize or overweight loads?
Step deck and over dimensional freight needs permits and a route survey. Send the dimensions and the weight and we will tell you what is possible and what the permitting adds.
Tell us what you are shipping
Send the freight details and dispatch comes back with the equipment, the rate and the transit time.
- A rate back fast usually inside the hour on a straightforward lane
- Tracking on every load updates you did not have to chase
- A straight answer including when the timeline is not achievable
