Everything shippers and drivers ask us
Rates, equipment, tracking, paperwork, insurance and driving jobs. If the answer is not here, dispatch will give it to you on the phone.
How fast can AZE Logistics get me a rate?
Send the lane, the equipment and the pickup window and a number normally comes back inside the hour. Call dispatch directly if it is urgent.
Do you cover my area?
We run the lower 48 out of Dallas, with the heaviest coverage across Texas, the South East, the Midwest and the West Coast corridors. If the lane is outside our network we will tell you straight away instead of sitting on the load.
How do I set up an account with AZE Logistics?
Send your company details and we email a shipper packet the same day. Sign it, send back your insurance certificate if we are loading at your facility, and you can book freight immediately.
What is the difference between truckload and partial?
Truckload means your freight has the trailer to itself and rides straight through. Partial means you pay for the space you use and share the deck with one or two other shippers, which is cheaper but adds a stop or two.
Do you haul hazardous materials?
Ask dispatch about your specific commodity and class before you book. Some classes we run regularly and some we do not, and we would rather tell you up front than surprise you at pickup.
Can you handle appointment deliveries and retail receivers?
Yes. Send the appointment window and the receiver requirements with the load and we will build the transit plan around it, including early arrival where the site allows it.
What about oversize or overweight loads?
Step deck and over dimensional freight needs permits and a route survey. Send the dimensions and the weight and we will tell you what is possible and what the permitting adds.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes. Every load gets a tracking link, and dispatch sends an update at pickup, at any exception and again at delivery. You should never have to chase us for a location.
What paperwork do you need to start?
A signed shipper packet, your insurance certificate if we are picking up at your own facility, and the bill of lading details for the first load. Setup usually takes under a day.
Are you insured?
Yes. Cargo and auto liability certificates are sent with your setup packet and any customer can request a current certificate at any time.
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are agreed in your setup packet before the first load. Invoices go out with the signed bill of lading attached the same day the freight delivers.
Do you provide proof of delivery?
Yes. Signed bill of lading and delivery photos are sent back the same day, and stored so you can request a copy months later without a hunt.
What happens if something goes wrong?
You hear about it from us first, with the reason and the new plan. Claims are documented from the photos taken at pickup and delivery, and handled by the same person who booked your load.
What do I need to drive for AZE Logistics?
A valid Class A CDL, a clean recent driving record, a DOT medical card and verifiable experience. Endorsements help but are not required for every lane.
How is pay handled?
Direct deposit every week, with the rate and the pay structure agreed in writing before your first load. No surprise deductions and no waiting on the shipper to pay us first.
What kind of home time can I expect?
Tell recruiting what home time you need before you sign on. We would rather build your lanes around it than lose a good driver in three months.
Do you take owner operators?
Yes. Bring your own authority or run under ours, with the percentage and the responsibilities written down before you haul anything.
